EBUKI Organisation Structure

How can everyone most powerfully pursue a purpose that transcends us all?

Ebuki has a specific purpose of fostering earth building, which attracts people and organisations in fluid and changing constellations, according to the need of the moment.

People connect remotely or in-person from all corners of the British Isles in different capacities - part–time, freelance, volunteering - according to their need and the resources available. They join forces or disband in response to what best serves the purpose.

The culture is one of organisation as a living organism. The diversity of location of Ebuki’s executive team across the British Isles - rather than location at a particular premises - gives it agility, most frequently meeting virtually to update each other about hands-on projects.

Below is a diagram showing the dynamic interconnectedness of EBUKI as an organisation. Each square:

  • Decides on and communicates with its own stakeholders, there is always a ‘Board of Trustees’ and an ‘Executive Committee’

  • Is able to interact with the other squares

  • Takes advice from stakeholders but makes their own decisions

  • Sources and manages their own budget, keeping the Finance Officer in the loop to administer payroll and expenses

EBUKI are a hub of many diverse but connected approaches and perspectives, where the relationships are our biggest asset
