Clayfest is back! Four days of earth building, learning and connection. With talks, hands-on sessions, demos, site visits, and time to rest and chat, this is the annual gathering you won’t want to miss. We have listened to you and are bringing an event that will bring everyone together!

What will the event be like:
Thursday 25 September – Conference
At The Elgiva Theatre, Chesham
A full day of talks featuring speakers from across natural building, design, making and the heritage sector. Expect insight, inspiration and fresh conversations.
26–28 September – Practical Sessions and camping
At H.G. Matthews Brickworks, Bellingdon
Three days of hands-on activities, demos, builds and expert-led workshops. You’ll learn by doing and help co-create a structure using multiple techniques.
There will also be time to rest, chat, share skills, and take part in dedicated networking sessions designed to spark new projects and collaborations. We’ll have site visits to explore brilliant local builds.
